MONTRÉAL, QC. – The Montréal Victoire celebrated their Walter Cup victory on Saturday in downtown Montréal, surrounded by thousands of fans who gathered to honor a historic season. The celebration began with the team riding on a double-decker bus, greeted by applause, chants, and a crowd that reflected the growing place of women’s sports in Montréal. The Victoire then took the stage at Le Parterre, in the Quartier des spectacles, where players, staff, and fans came together to celebrate the championship.
Throughout the event, the team took time to thank their supporters, calling them the best fans in the league, before lifting the Walter Cup once again to the cheers of the crowd. According to estimates from the City of Montréal, nearly 20,000 people attended the celebration, turning the moment into more than a victory parade. It became a reminder of how far the game has come and how strongly this city has embraced its team.
